Strategy · one hour

Career or technical consult

60 min · online · for engineers and managers

Sometimes you do not need “another framework” but an honest mirror: where you sit in the company system, what actually holds scale, and a next step that is not smeared across a quarter.

One hour focused on one layer — either technical (audit, risks, roadmap), or career (role, negotiations, move toward lead/CTO), or a tight mix when they are inseparable.

Format: short context from you, then dense questions and structured options. No motivational posters.

Best when

  • FIX You are an engineer or lead who can name one primary uncertainty for the hour (technical or career).
  • FIX You want next-step options and “how we would know it worked” — not generic motivation.
  • FIX You can summarise context without breaking NDA or asking me to “assess the whole company” in 60 minutes.

Typical scenarios

Phase 01

Technical

  • Service architecture, trade-offs, debt, risks before a release or hiring push.
  • Interview or investor pitch prep — clarity over buzzwords.
Phase 02

Career & role

  • IC → lead → CTO: what changes in expectations and in how you work with people.
  • Compensation talks, scope, offer red flags.

After the call

  1. 01 1–3 concrete steps or hypotheses to test; referrals when you need lawyer/recruiter/etc.
